Event: Panel Discussion 'Immigration: Facts and Fictions'

Immigration is once again at the centre of Australian political and public debate, but claims about migrant numbers, composition and impact are often manipulated to suit political ends rather than contribute to an informed discussion.
As net overseas migration, housing pressures and questions of social cohesion continue to dominate headlines, we want to think and talk about the impact of the immigration 'debate' and these issues on the Chinese Australian community.
CAF is holding a Panel Discussion 'Immigration: Facts and Fictions'.
We have pulled together an eminent panel of experts including:
Professor Wanning Sun, Deputy Director of UTS Australia China Relations Institute (ACRI)
Dr Abul Rizvi, former Deputy Secretary of the Department of Immigration
Osmond Chui, Research Fellow at the per Capita Think Tank
