Chinese Australian Forum wishes to advise members the below details for helping victims of the devastating earthquake in Sichuan and surrounding provinces. Urgent needs are for tents, blankets, clothing, easily cooked food and lighting equipment. Cash donation is the most effective way of getting help to the victims and all material can be locally sourced.

The CAF is a non-profit organisation.

It was formed in 1985 in response to a deterioration in inter-racial relationship in Australia. It began with the aim of raising political awareness within the Chinese Australian community. It has since evolved and expanded its role to include involvement in other social and political issues affecting the democratic process in Australia.
